Doing Business with Saicomm
This is a very important information about doing business with Saicomm.
Here is a brief recap of how we do business.
1. Artwork — When you submit your artwork, you should have already printed out a copy and proofed it for typos. We do not supply proofs for short runs (unless you write down “Proof Required” on the order form. We always supply proofs for long run jobs (over 1000 pcs). After we preflight your artwork and send you a proof, and you want to make an author’s change, we charge for the next round of proofs based on a $60.00 per hour charge. If it’s our mistake, we don’t charge you.
2. Turn times. — These are approximate. We do everything in our power to meet or exceed your deadline expectations. Sometimes things happen. UPS delays a shipment, there are problems with the artwork or the masters. We will do everything in our power to make the deadline. Plan ahead. Don’t schedule that all important CD release party until you have the discs in hand.
3. Freight — Unless you pick them up, we charge for freight. We get really good prices from UPS and Fedex, so, we’ll save you some money. We ship everything from Fremont, CA.
4. Overs/Unders — What we do is custom manufacturing, so, there are periodic variances in production. Our standard is +/- 10%. We bill for the actual number shipped.
